Where Women Create | Photography
I was hired by Kenmare, ND, mixed-media artist Jane Kalmbach to photograph her, her studio and artwork for a feature piece in the 2021 summer publication of Where Women Create. Having the opportunity to collaborate with a fellow artist and use my talents to help shine a light on her talents and work was a very rewarding experience.
Research | Gender Studies
While in college, I took great interest in researching and gaining both a boarder and more in-depth understanding of gender identity, and gendered representation within our media and society. My research on Platonic love and its prevalence between genders in modern television was an effort to identify the frequency of platonic love expressions between same-gender and cross-gender relationships and to describe examples of such expressions.
